Lasso or Box Select followed by Zoom or Pan

It seems that when I zoom after lassoing, the lasso stays in a static position and does not expand/contract accordingly. Same behavior occurs with box select. Furthermore, the lasso (or box) disappears when panning. Is this a known issue, that is being worked on, or am I missing something?

This is indeed a known limitation. Although it’s being worked on, unfortunately, we don’t have a timeline as for when it’ll be fixed.

Is there any update on this? I’m wondering if persistence can happen for a box select on zoom/pan/plot update. If it’s currently not a feature, any guidance on where in the code I can fiddle with this on my own?
