I’ve been asked if I can have the ‘toggle spike lines’ modebar option set on by default. Is this possible? I don’t see it in the https://plot.ly/javascript/configuration-options/, so I’m guessing not, but it’d be a great addition.
I know there are the options in the x and y axis to ‘showspikes’, but then the toggle spike lines button doesn’t turn them off. Any advice appreciated.

I’m guessing there’s not a way to completely disable the spike lines when the toggle button is pressed?
