WebGL plots look fuzzy and low-res

Iā€™m on a MacBook with a retina display, and there is a stark difference in visual quality between SVG and WebGL plots. It looks to me that a choice was made to render WebGL only at low-resolution, and on low-resolution displays WebGL plots look fine.

Does the WebGL resolution issue manifest at the platform level, or is there something that can be changed within the Plotly codebase to render sharper WebGL plots?

Ha right, this must a side-effect of https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/issues/3246

Thanks for reporting.
